Guidelines: Coach adults and kids
There was a time where I thought getting in shape myself was nearly impossible. I would work out every time I felt a surge of motivation run through my veins, and then a week later stop and not exercise again until I felt that random surge. If you are like I once was, you might relate to looking in a magazine of beautiful swimsuit models and then degrading yourself--but never doing anything about it. You say you are going to eat healthy, and by that you mean starving yourself for a few days by living off lettuce, and then you go right back to fast foods and snack on junk because you don’t feel that you would ever be able to keep up with the motivation. Well, I am here to tell you that you can be the ‘fit you’ you always desired to become. You don’t have to sit and imagine anymore; as a matter of fact, you have to get up out of whatever mindset you are sitting in, and you have to get to work!
I am not here to tell you that you won't have to work to get the body and health you want. You do. Like most of us you probably don’t have 20k to go get your body redone within a few surgeries. There are not any miracles that can change your body, only you can.
So what did I do? I joined the gym and told myself I could not give up. There were many days I thought about giving up and staying home in bed, don’t get me wrong. Yet, I kept up with it, and even though sometimes I fell, I continued on. It was very hard at first, and it took a while to see any results-but when I starting feeling and seeing results, it was the most amazing feeling in the world.
This feeling was so strong, I had to share it. I wanted to show people what amazing things they could do when they believe in themselves. I became an exercising trainor, and now I own a gym and hire personal trainers to help others the way I once did. I was able to not only continue to be the best version of myself health wise that I could be, but I was able to help others see their potential, and reach their goals. Still, at the end of the day their true success was because of their determination, their motivation--they did not quite. You can do it! The author of the article, “Don’t give up on your workout: 3 fitness motivation tips” wants her readers to know how salient it is to take care of yourself by stating her expert opinion that,“Your body is priceless. And, it’s worth making an effort to look after it through regular exercise and good nutrition. If you give up on your health goals, you are giving up on yourself.” We need to make ourselves the priority. In order to be sufficient in all other things in life, we need to be healthy and happy within the bodies that have to carry out those tasks with us everywhere we go.
In life, people need to make guidlines for themselves; but sometimes we need somebody to guide us and help motivate our goals. Trainers can do certain things such as learning how to exercise the right way without injuring ourselves. According to the article, “Most Common Reasons People Stop Exercising (And What You Can Do About Them!)” they believe that people need to, “Consider getting a personal trainer to help you. Even one session can show you how to be more self-sufficient in performing activities… Also consider other factors that may be important in picking an exercise class that’s right for you, such as your goals, limitations, and concerns.” This article reveals to the readers that if you need help, you should set any feeling of guilt aside to reach your goals.
People have this mentality where they believe they look stupid for asking for help. Asking for help is not a sign of weakness, it means you are not blind and in denial of your weakness. It makes you that much stronger because you know what you have to do to ever truly reach your goals. Advocating for yourself, and getting a professional trainer to guide you on what you are concerned about is very important for your success.
Being stubborn and conceited could be very dangerous in a gym setting. Personal trainers only want to help you for the better. We already have that knowledge and we want to exchange that knowledge with our clients in order for them to use it. By not listening to your personal trainer that is guiding you to help you reach your goal, you will just end up hurting yourself. If you injure yourself, it is recommended to go see a doctor and a physical therapist. Once this happens, the process starts all over again.
As the clients are following the personal trainer’ guidelines, the personal therapy must follow a guideline too such as responsibilities, respectful , fair and trustworthy. In my gym, my personal trainers will treat all clients with respect.
We believe in empowering one another with positive feedback. Yes my trainers will push you to limits they know you can reach without hurting yourself to make you stronger, but they will never do it in a negative way to make you feel degraded, defeated, or like a failure. No one in my gym is a failure unless they make themselves one, and even then we will never turn on you. The trainers here will always be around to help you get back on your feet, and back to routine workouts that will safely and effectively help you finally reach your goals.
When trying to motivate oneself, you can not compare yourself to the others around you. This is your life, your health, and your body. You can do it if you keep your focus on the positive and on your own success. Everyone’s successes are very different. Stay focused on your own goals that are realistic for you for now, and get some help from a professional to potentially make your process much more safe and worthwhile.
